TBBT’s Connecting with Confidence partnership with Lloyds Bank and We Are Digital aims to tackle digital exclusion at a grassroots, community level.

“This project has already had a lot of impact. We've had people with children doing it to help with their homework. We've had the older members who have no access at all to internet. I only have a phone, so this project was a godsend to me. Having a tablet and getting online properly has honestly changed so much for me and my daughters.

Joining forces with top British food manufacturers, TBBT has demonstrated expertise in working with partners in the manufacturing process itself, rescuing surplus foods that are used in the creation of other products – including components for ready meals.

The Green Doctors attended a total of 48 sessions at eleven different hubs in Darlington during the spring and autumn of 2022. This provided members with the opportunity to access invaluable energy saving advice, just as the energy crisis started to escalate.
